As our client base grows, so are we, and we are needing to expand our team. You may be fully qualified or seeking an apprenticeship and looking to join a stable team with an encouraging team culture.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for Horticulture/Gardening, with good knowledge of plants, pest and disease

  • Pride in their work and attention to detail

  • The physical capacity to the task set and a willingness to work in all conditions

  • A desire to train and upskill

Role requirements:

  • Australian residence

  • A valid driver’s licence

  • Own transportation to/from base in Cromer, Northern Beaches

  • Apprenticeship - time to attend TAFE and guidance with study

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Horticulturist who is dynamic and has a positive attitude to join our team. You will be working in a team of two and be responsible for maintaining and developing our clients’ gardens to a high standard. We are passionate about what we do and take pride in delivering award winning gardens all over NSW. 

This is a great opportunity for the right person to expand their skills and learn from your peers. Daily tasks will include but not limited to planting, pruning, weeding, lawn maintenance, fertilising, and general garden care.

Who are we looking for?

  • Sound knowledge of plants, pests, disease, and soil knowledge

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative

  • A great work ethic with self-motivation and reliability

  • The ability to follow procedures and take direction as required

  • A proven commitment to safety in the workplace

  • An enthusiastic and positive approach to all duties

  • Prefer to work in an outdoor environment where weather conditions can be challenging at times

  • Adequate physical fitness to undertake the tasks required

  • Experience with equipment such as hedge trimmers, mowers, whipper snippers and blowers

  • Comfortable working on ladders

  • Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team and sharing your knowledge with others

To be considered for these roles it would be beneficial if you had the following:

  • Driver’s License

  • White Card

  • Experience in high end residential gardens

  • Cert 2 or 3 in Horticulture

  • Chemcert certificate

  • Current working Visa
